Artist: The Dark Colours Since 1685
Label: Aaahh Records, 2014
Aaahh Records come up with their latest single release: a garage punk blues - whatever you name it as dirty riff, raw music with old school rock and roll beat - band. These guys do have a taste in giving their band name with a vision of coming up from root of dark side of rock music. 'The Preacher Don't Care' is a kickin' stuff!
They don't give any seconds to grab bullshit with intro, they are directly there, punch a face with raw sound guitar like it was 70, beat like it was 60, and hook vocal. They started by extracting Rolling Stones beat before getting faster all along the garage sound, raw and noisy, where you can feel that they are blessed by the band like The Stooges. Not much of technically music show-off, it is punk simplicity they are offering. So garage/punk/blues/rock and roll is just a name when you know that your music has already been kickin' the term from the start - or like what they said - since 1685.
