Kynchinlay is my fresh finding nowadays. Coming up from Liverpool, the guys bring rock music into my ears precisely. From the opening 'Leave Me Alone', which has strong intension and solid composition, this EP started in a brilliant way. 'Live Free Or Die' is an anthemic song with lyric that could build up a golden horse statue upon a mud field. This one is my favorite song among all because this song is very suitable to be played in any venues with any numbers of audiences (even if you hear it by yourself in your bedroom, it would be enchanting still).
'Public Execution' is another interesting one. A song with politic awareness lyric covered up completely with spoken words on the back, impressive and moving. 'DogFathers' appeared with intensive ska music that gives different taste. 'My Heart' close the EP with driven bassline and drumbeat throwing all out at last. This EP is very potential to be more energic and explosive at live. Another plus point is the vocal. I enjoy the way their vocalist sings very much. This is a modern rock album that could be best played anywhere, and the greatest one, very crowd-friendly.
